How can we take better care of each other and the planet? That question is central to RE/SISTERS, a major exhibition about climate justice and gender equality. Together with a FOMU guide you will look for answers and new visions of the future.
RE/SISTERS: A Lens on Gender and Ecology is an international themed exhibition featuring 50 female and gender non-conforming artists. Through photography, film and installations, these artists show that the exploitation of the planet cannot be viewed separately from the oppression of women and minority groups. They question existing capitalist power structures and look for solutions to restore our fragile ecosystem.

RE/SISTERS is an exhibition that simultaneously advocates a climate-just and gender-equal future.
RE/SISTERS consists of six thematic chapters: mining – protest and resistance – ecological concern – environmental racism – queerness – new social structures and hierarchies. Together they reframe our thinking about the environment and gender, emphasizing the radical power of caring in the face of exploitation.
Practical information:
- This guided tour is suitable for pupils of the secondary educations, for all directions. When making your reservation, please indicate the age, level and/or area of interest of the pupils, so our guide can prepare the visit to suit your needs.
- Maximum 20 persons per group
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Per group of 20 students, 2 supervisors get free admission. For each group of 20 students, at least 1 supervisor must be present.
- Museum admission: free for visitors under 18 years old
