Sculptures speak volumes – NT2 (beginner)
The Middelheim Museum organises guided tours and creative workshops for a wide range of NT2 groups – adult education. This visit offers added value as an opportunity for language practice, as an introduction to the free Middelheim Museum city park and also as a place for group discussions about art and nature. By observing and philosophising together, your group will not only discover more about the works of art, but also about each other. Because everyone looks at art differently and makes different associations.

Together with a museum guide you will have a look at a number of sculptures in the park. The guide will teach your group to look at the sculptures and talk about them, and they will also give you more information about the artists who created the statues. The museum guide will take into account the vocabulary level of the group.
Practical information:
- This guided tour is suitable for NT2 groups (CVO & CBE), groups from Integration/Social orientation and groups of volunteers
- Maximum 15 persons per group
- Duration: 120 minutes
- Museum entrance is free
In the art park you can have a picnic everywhere. In case of bad weather it is also possible to sit under the lean-to roof of the artwork Franchise Unit of Atelier van Lieshout. Groups of more than ten people are advised to make reservations via the phone number 03 288 33 60 (reception) or via e-mail to middelheimmuseum@antwerpen.be.
