Guided art tour? Of course! – primary education
Art and nature become one in the Middelheim Museum. The sculptures amid the greenery invite us to pause for a moment and raise questions. How does a work of art change its surroundings and vice versa? What is man’s influence on nature? How important is nature to us and do we treat it with respect?

Select the number of participants per guided tour or the number of individual tickets needed.
During this art educational tour pupils will go on a philosophical adventure. Based on five works of art, the pupils will take a critical look at art, nature and themselves. A guide will lead the group through the museum and stimulate discussions about the sculptures. The new insights are brought together in a closing workshop. During the workshop the pupils can process all of their experiences and knowledge. Not by talking or listening, but by rolling up their sleeves.

- This guided tour is suitable for primary school groups
- Maximum 12 children per group
- Duration: 120 minutes
- Museum entrance is free
In the art park you can have a picnic everywhere. In case of bad weather it is also possible to sit under the lean-to roof of the artwork Franchise Unit of Atelier van Lieshout. Groups of more than ten people are advised to make reservations via the phone number 03 288 33 60 (reception) or via e-mail to middelheimmuseum@antwerpen.be.
