Inspiration everywhere! is a workshop that encourages young people in 3rd grade to discover their own literary and creative talents. With tips from Belgian radio maker Tom de Cock, the participants will look for inspiration and create a literary-artistic piece. In the Letterenhuis we not only keep the archives of writers and poets, we are also an inspiring museum that tells and shows the stories and history of literature in Flanders. The Letterenhuis is the ideal place in which to get creative and educate yourself!
To see if the desired time slot is available, enter the number of participants under ‘Group size (Group ticket)’, choose the guide language and select the date.
From 03/02/2021 11:00 pm (UTC) until 31/12/2030 10:59 pm (UTC)
The classes taking part in this workshop will receive a special notebook for each student before the visit to the Letterenhuis. The questions and quotes in this notebook teach students how writers look at the world (or could look at it) and how they themselves can use their imagination. In the Letterenhuis we will then reflect on what inspires writers, which will, in turn, be used as a source of inspiration to enable the participants to get to work themselves. Who knows, maybe there is a writer or artist hidden inside them and this is the start of a new career!
