Museum Mayer van den Bergh: Permanent collection

During his short life, Fritz Mayer van den Bergh (1858-1901) collected some 3,000 works, among which ‘Mad Meg’ (‘Dulle Griet’) by Pieter Bruegel the Elder. After his sudden death in 1901, his mother Henriette was left with her son’s unfulfilled dream: to open a museum devoted to his breath-taking collection.

No group visits are possible until 27 August.
