Workshop: Enchanting animals
In the Enchanting animals workshop at the MAS, children will go in search of unique animals from Central and South America. Afterwards, they will let their imagination run wild and design their own fantasy animal!

Select the number of participants per guided tour or the number of individual tickets needed.
During this guided tour at the MAS, the students will discover that the Maya peoples had a special bond with animals and even attributed special powers to them. Together with the MAS supervisors, they will go and look for those animals and discover their extraordinary powers.
The pupils will let their imagination run wild and use different materials to create their own fantasy animal. They will work with bistre (yellowish brown pigment), charcoal and oil pastels.
Practical information:
- This workshop is suitable for groups of children in their free time
- Maximum 15 children per group, maximum 2 groups at the same time
- Duration: 120 minutes
