Clara Serena was the eldest daughter of the famous painter Peter Paul Rubens, a world star that everyone wanted to meet. Even kings and queens came to the house to visit Clara Serena’s father. Because cameras and smartphones hadn’t yet been invented, daddy Rubens didn’t take pictures of his children or take selfies with them. Instead, Rubens painted stunning portraits of Clara Serena and her brothers Albert and Nicholas. Today, these portraits are scattered around the globe.
