During this guided tour the pupils are immersed in different parties from all over the world. The expo kicks off with the pupils experiencing parties related to a transition in life, from the giants’ parade in Antwerp to a colorful Indian Ganeshafestival. Using the ‘Culture in the mirror’ theory, the children will discover the different celebrations in an active manner.
This is followed by a workshop in the MAS where everyone will make his or her transitional object. Dressed in festive outfits, they will set up a play in which the object they have made is used to make a transition.
