MAStour – non-native speakers
The MAStour will introduce you to the MAS and its different themes. The MAS has developed a fascinating interactive tour specifically for non-native speakers, which can be taken either with or without a guide. For centuries, the river and the harbour have provided encounters and exchanges between people, cultures and goods. The MAS lies exactly at that lively intersection.

During the MAStour, a guide will invite your students to look at cultural heritage and actively listen to fascinating stories. Of course, the guide will take into account the language level of the group. He/she will encourage the students to express their ideas and observations in their own words. The guide will tell both great and short narratives about the past, present and future of both the city and the world. Each of these narratives will tell the story of someone with a different mindset and reality. During the tour you will visit all of the theme rooms. Later on you will have time to visit your favourite rooms a second time at your own pace.
Practical information:
- This guided tour is suitable for non-native speakers
- Basic education: alfa starting from 1.2 and NT2 from 1.2
- Centrum voor volwassenenonderwijs: threshold 2, 3 and 4
- Linguapolis: starting from level 2
- Integration/social orientation (with the necessary language level)
- Pupils of French-speaking secondary schools
- Maximum 15 persons per group
- Duration: 120 minutes
- Museum admission: free of charge for school groups
