Moving with sculptures – youth associations

Art in a green setting: the Middelheim Museum is an excellent place for a particularly active 120 minutes. For the ‘Moving with sculptures’ game you’ll be split up into separate teams and compete against each other in a sporty challenge. The leaders of the youth movements will also participate! With a layout of the domain in your hand, you will move from work of art to work of art in different ways: blindfolded, wheelbarrow, leapfrog, etc. Whoever arrives first scores the most points.

After six sculptures the guide will challenge you with a special group assignment. This will also earn you points. Make the funniest selfie of your team, reflected in a work of art. Make up the strongest, most creative words for a sculpture. Reinvent or draw a work of art. The guide at the Middelheim Museum will help you to find new ways to look at the sculptures.

You will discover everything that the Middelheim Museum has to offer in an entertaining and, above all, very active tour. You are free to ask questions: anything goes, but nothing is a must. The guide will also adapt the game to the level and size of the group. Moving with sculptures: a very cool activity for very cool young people, from 10 to 18 years old.
