Guided tour for visually impaired adults
The Middelheim Museum offers guided tours for groups of visually impaired people and their companions. These guided tours are tailor-made in consultation with the organiser and the museum guide.

Select the number of participants per guided tour or the number of individual tickets needed.
After the introduction, a short description is given of how the sculptures were placed in the Middelheim Museum park. In this way the participants can form an image of the park as a museum. They then walk through the Middelehim Museum park to the selected sculptures. Multiple works are chosen based on the diversity of material used and the possibility of them being explored as a whole by the participants. As a general rule, the sculptures may not be touched, but an exception is made for visually impaired people. Of course, we do ask the participants to take necessary precautions when touching the sculptures and this should only be done under the guidance of the museum guide.
The groups are limited to a maximum of 10 participants so that the museum guide can make enough time for everyone. The guided tours last 1.5 hours. Afterwards, there is the opportunity to discuss the experience with the museum guide in the Middelheim Museum café.
