A guide takes you along impressive dry docks, workhouses for ship repairers,… and talks about the fascinating history of the site and the ship repair profession. The MAS’ historical vessel collection is also discussed. It left the Scheldt quays and found a new home on the site. The collection will be cherished and maintained there.
If everything goes smoothly, works will start in 2024 for the first phase of the redevelopment of the unique site into a large public maritime experience site.
Practical information:
- This guided tour is suitable for groups of adults
- Maximum 20 persons per group
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Guided tours can be booked on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Not possible between 1 November and 1 April.
