Your walk takes you in a straight line from the railway cathedral (Central Station) to Our Lady’s Cathedral. The choice is yours: you can go from east (Central Station) to west (Our Lady’s Cathedral) or the other way around. This walk is an excellent introduction to the city.

It takes you to some of the most popular places in Antwerp: the pleasant ‘Groenplaats’, the ‘Boerentoren’ skyscraper, the Meir (Antwerp’s long shopping mall) and to the bustling De Keyserlei. You pass such architectural gems as the recently restored ‘Palace on the Meir’, and you look at enticing shop windows. The statues of Rubens, Van Dyck and Teniers – Antwerp’s most famous painters – show you the way. This pleasant walk is mainly through pedestrian zones and gives you a nice overview of the town.

  • Duration: 120 minutes
  • Maximum 20 persons per guide
  • A visit to Our Lady’s Cathedral is not included
  • If it is open you will go into the Stadsfeestzaal shopping centre
