Corona update: Due to the current measures, it is not possible to make a booking for either February – March. A city walk in the open air can take place from 1 April 2021 and a group visit/tour in a city museum is possible as of 1 May 2021. These dates are subject to the corona measures that are in force at that time. The corona measures limit the maximum number of participants as well. Birthday party

Are you looking for an original birthday party for your child at a unique location? The birthday boy or girl will go on a festive discovery of the MAS with their friends. Afterwards, they will make a sparkling work of art in the studio and feast on cake and soft drinks, which you must provide yourself.

Choose one of these two MAS workshops:

Enchanting animals (for children aged 6 to 12 years)
The kids will go in search of unique animals from Central and South America. Afterwards, they will let their imagination run wild and design their own fantasy animal.

Celebration! (for children aged 8 to 12 years)
The kids will learn all about the giants’ parade in Antwerp, the colourful festival in honour of the elephant god Ganesha in India and the party of the new girl held by the Ticuna Indians. Dressed in festive outfits they will make their own mini performance in the MAS. Then they will get to work in the studio where they will make a colourfully decorated item of headwear.

Practical information:

  • This guided tour is suitable for children from 6/8 to 12 years old
  • Maximum 12 children per guide
  • Minimum 1 supervisor (e.g. (grand)parent) must be present – not allowed as long as the corona measures are in effect
  • Duration: 180 minutes
  • When: Wednesday afternoons, Saturdays and Sundays
  • This tour includes the guide, museum visit, workshop and invites
  • You can pick up the invitation tickets at the MAS desk between Tuesday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm
  • Refreshments: you will have to bring your own cake and drinks
