Corona update: Due to the current measures, it is not possible to make a booking for either February – March. A city walk in the open air can take place from 1 April 2021 and a group visit/tour in a city museum is possible as of 1 May 2021. These dates are subject to the corona measures that are in force at that time. The corona measures limit the maximum number of participants as well. The Letterenhuis (House of Literature) guides dive into both the small and large stories of Flemish literature from the 19th and 20th centuries. Admire with your own eyes the famous manuscripts of Willem Elsschot, Paul van Ostaijen or Hendrik Conscience.
From 03/02/2021 11:00 pm (UTC) until 31/12/2030 10:59 pm (UTC)
How did Paul van Ostaijen write the immortal poem ‘Marc groet ‘s morgens de dingen’? How did the divine Boon create his Ondineke of the ‘Kapellekensbaan’ one beautiful day? And how did Tom Lanoye go ‘To War’? Diaries, manuscripts, letters… you will be able to view them all at the Letterenhuis. In a sense, you will get a glance over the shoulders of the authors.
