In search of the Red Star Line

For over 2 million emigrants from all over Europe, the buildings of the Red Star Line on the Antwerp ‘Het EIlandje’ were the beginning of a new life in America.
On this tour you will walk past old warehouses, bollards where the ocean ships were moored and old harbour sheds. Your final destination is the magnificent Red Star Line Museum, where you can climb the observation tower. Meanwhile, your guide will tell you the story of the ups and downs experienced by the passengers during their journey through Europe, their stay in Antwerp, their voyage across the ocean and their experiences in the New World.
