This guided tour (70 minutes) of the most beautiful floor, the renowned “Schoon Verdiep” (Beautiful Floor) at the Antwerp City Hall, allows your group to discover the monumental splendour, social and cultural significance, current political function and eventful history of this superb building. Since this tour is offered outside office hours, your guide can give you a treat and take you inside the Mayor’s Salon, which is rarely accessible to the public, and has been restored to its former glory.

Attention: Before the group arrives at the Foyer to meet the guide, the group leader must pick up a group registration form 15 minutes before the indicated start time of the tour at the Reception Desk (on the left in the entrance hall, on the side of the Grote Markt) on which all surnames and first names of the participants must be correctly entered. When the completed group registration form has been handed in, the group leader will receive access badges for all participants.

  • You can book a maxmimum of 2 guides
  • Duration: 70 minutes
  • Confirm your preferred language when making your reservation
  • Backpacks, shopping bags, large handbags, water bottles, wet coats and umbrellas must be stored in the cloakroom before the start of the tour.
  • Make sure to arrive on time and enjoy a carefree visit together!

The tour is suitable for everyone. Please inform us in advance if wheelchair users will be present.

Is the Town Hall publicly accessible?

The ground floor is accessible daily from 9am to 6pm. The Schoon Verdiep can only be visited via a guided tour.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are not permitted in the Town Hall, except for guide dogs and other certified assistance dogs.
